What is Stop. Make a Change?
Stop. Make a Change is a national event planned for 18 April 2017 that will allow leading UK infrastructure contractors and customers the opportunity to speak directly to employees and suppliers about health, safety & wellbeing issues, and to make commitments to actions targeting improved performance in these areas.
Who is involved?
Stop. Make a Change has been developed by an industry working group that includes representatives from BAM Nuttall, Balfour Beatty, Carillion, Costain, Environment Agency, Highways England, Morgan Sindall, Kier, Lagan, New Civil Engineer, Skanska and VolkerWessels UK.
However, involvement in Stop. Make a Change is open to any organization that is involved in the construction and/or maintenance of the UK’s transport and utility networks. Other organizations so far backing the event include Crossrail, Heathrow Airport, HS2 Ltd, and Network Rail.
